Tamara Johnson
President
 Tammy is President and Owner of Tamarack and Associates, Inc., an accounting and tax practice, and Tamarack Properties, handling residential rental properties.  She received her AA fromStark State College in Retail Marketing and Management in 1976, and her BA from Ohio University in Fashion Merchandising in 1978, and completed her Accounting Certification from Mount Union College in 1988.  Tammy is President of the Board of Directors of The Rainbow Repertory Company, a local theatrical group that supports minority productions.  She is a member of the National Association of Tax Practioners, the National Notary Association, and the Alliance Rotary Club.  Tammy lives in Lake Township with her husband, Chuck, and daughter, Amanda, and is a member of St. Paul's Church in North Canton.
 
  
Kathy Mitchell
Artistic Director
Kathy Mitchell started as an actress in Rainbow’s initial play, The Fences Between in 1994.   Because of the long run of the show and the demand for more, the Rainbow Repertory Company officially launched. Since that time, Kathy has appeared in many Rainbow performances. She has also written, co written, and directed several productions.

Kathy was appointed Artistic Director for Rainbow in 2003. 
Away from the stage, Kathy is a grant writer, sits on three Board of Directors and is a Minister at Firm Foundation

Lois DiGiacomo 
Founder
In 1994, Lois wrote a biographical play, THE FENCES BETWEEN, about the life of Norma Marcere and engaged Kathy Mitchell to portray Norma.  The  power of that play to touch and change people's lives  inspired the creation of Rainbow with the mission to better people's lives through the arts. Over 30,000 have seen or participated in  Rainbow productions since then with a repetoire that includes social issue plays for all community sectors, entertainment for all ages and opportunities for performing artists, writers and directors to bring their own These life experiences have inspired  my life in the arts, not only with Rainbow, but as a board member of Arts in Stark, Coming Together, Stark County, and Stark Arts Coming Together.  As the host of STATE OF THE ARTS, Canton City Schools Television since 2000, Lois has interviewed over a thousand artists of all genres.

Chrysanthe Vassiles
Secretary 
Chrysanthe E. Vassiles joined Black McCuskey Souers & Arbaugh as an associate concentrating in bankruptcy law and commercial transactions.
A graduate of The Ohio State University College of Law, she was an Associate Editor of The Ohio State Law Journal.

Chrysanthe is an Advisory Board Member for the Rainbow Repertory Company, a graduate of the 14th Class of Leadership Stark County, for which she previously served as a member of the Justice Day Committee for subsequent classes, and a member of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (I.W.I.R.C.). She also previously served as an Advisory Board Member and Treasurer of P.A.L. Mission and as a Board of Director and Treasurer of A.B.C.D., Inc.

Chrysanthe is a longtime resident of Dover and enjoys traveling, wine tasting, and golfing

Fred Johnson
Board Member
Fred Johnson has been a board member since Rainbow begin in 1994. He is a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Vice President of Catholic Interracial Council of Stark County, Ohio Commission African American Catholics for the Diocese of Youngstown and is very proud of an award given to him from Pope John Paul in April, 2000.

Fred is the happy husband of Robin Johnson, father of six, grandfather of eleven, and great grandfather of fifteen. He is a chartered member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity.


                                                  
David Kolinski-Schultz
Board Member
David Kolinski-Schultz was born in Ft. Pierce, Florida , and grew up in Ohio . At 18, he moved to Boston to attend the Berklee College of Music as an Arranging & Composition Major, where he was privileged to study writing with Wes Hensel of the Les Brown Band and Bob Chestnut of Las Vegas. Based in the Boston area for 14 years, David made a living as a professional musician and arranger touring with various dance bands. Returning to the Canton area in 1986, David has continued to work as a professional musician playing with area bands including Jimmy & the Soulblazers, as well as in pit orchestras for The Canton
Players’ Guild and others. In the ‘90’s David performed at Carousel Dinner Theater as part of the orchestras for Rosemary Clooney, Jack Jones, and Jerry Lewis. As a member of the Soulblazers David has opened for, or performed backup with, The Four Tops, The Four Seasons, and Martha Reeves & the Vandellas. The Soulblazers had the rare honor to open for the legendary Ray Charles at the Canton Palace Theater. 
 
Returning to college in the ‘90s, David now holds a degree in Engineering Technology and is pursuing a degree in Computer Science. He currently works as a Product Support Engineer for Diebold, is a graduate of the 19th Class of Leadership Stark County, and continues working in the NE Ohio and upstate New York area with the Soulblazers, as well as playing occasional gigs with the Jack Halkides Big Band, and the Alliance Symphony Big Band.

In 2003, after 10 years of study, David was certified as a Chinese Martial Art Instructor for T’ai Chi by Master David Schenk. David was later promoted to the rank of Disciple of Master David Schenk and certified to teach all Internal Chinese Martial Arts.

 In 2007, David assumed the role of Orchestral Director for the newly-formed Canton Cabaret Dinner Theater. During the first season the orchestra participated in three out of four shows presented, each show requiring the preparation of approximately 40 pieces of music.
 
In 2008, David and the Canton Cabaret Orchestra participated in Glenoak High School's Arts Day by including students in the orchestra and working with student vocalists and dancers to recreate the Moonlight Ballroom program from CC's 2007 season. The program featured music of the Big Band era.
 
David is married to Canton artist Laura Kolinski-Schultz.
 


Beverly Bevington

Board Member
Born and raised in Canton , Ohio , Beverly graduated from Oakwood   High School .  During her school years, she was a choir accompanist and participated in numerous piano competitions receiving less than a Superior rating only 1 time.  Planning to track a career as a concert pianist, she attained a secretarial job with the City of Canton .  Her plans were to work a few years, saving enough money to go onto New York ’s Julliard   School of Music.  However, after working only 3 years, she was promoted to Office Manager.  This promotion grew into a 31-year career with the City of Canton working under 5 Mayoral Administrations.  Bev worked directly in the Mayor’s office of 2 Administrations for a total of 11 years.  She then transferred to the Canton City Council office where she recently completed her career working for 13 Council Members.
While employed with the city, she was an elementary and high school PTO President and Secretary for 10 years.   She also chaired the Light Up Downtown Canton Committee for 2 years while chairing several After-Prom Committees and was a liaison between Chamber of Commerce and Mayor’s office.   She also completed a college photography course for public relations and is a Stark County Farm Bureau member.   Bev continues to be a volunteer Stark County 4 H Advisor to the Horse Whisperers Horse Club.  She is a skillful paino accompanist for high school level competitions and accompanies at the college level.  Retiring from the City of Canton , she plans to continue her music by accompanying, offering lessons and being involved with the arts in the Canton Community.  She and daughter Raylena, who is a Canton Cabaret cast member and Mount Union College Music Education major, provide music for weddings and special events.  She has been a Rainbow Repertory Board Director for 1 year.  Bev has 2 children, Richie and Raylena and is married to Richard.  They live on a 90 acre farm and raise paint and quarter horses.
